I have worked in technology since 2003 and built ventures since 2005 — over 20 years of creating things in an emerging market, mostly from scratch, often without a playbook. That experience is what I bring into every mentorship engagement.

The Journey

My first venture was Orange Studio, an animation studio I founded in 2005. It later evolved through Idea Group into Orange Graphic. The work taught me the fundamentals of running a business. From there I spent years deep in the CG and VFX industry, co-founded CG Georgia in 2013, and helped build the field through vocational education curricula, workshops for artists, and CG Fest Tbilisi.

I co-founded VRex Immersive in 2013 and have served as CEO since November 2017. We build immersive technology for travel, culture, education, aviation, industry, and public-sector clients. In 2018, Startup Grind selected VRex among the Top 50 from more than 6,000 applicants worldwide. We presented in Redwood City and continued building products and client work from Georgia.

In 2022, I co-founded Neuropilot VR. As Chief Product Officer, I lead product strategy and development for immersive cognitive-state regulation experiences, including versions designed for athletes and executives. The venture began in Georgia and continued through NeuropilotVR UG in Germany from 2025.

Mentorship and Teaching

I have mentored founders and teams since 2013 across government, university, accelerator, corporate, and community programs in Georgia and beyond. Everything I teach is grounded in what I am actively living — running ventures, navigating investor conversations, building teams, and surviving hard periods.

Programs I have worked with:

  • GITA 150K — Trainer and mentor across five completed co-financing programme cohorts
  • CENN — Startup training programs
  • Hardware StartUP Incubator 2.0 — Entrepreneurship lectures and online mentoring in Kakheti
  • GITA — Multiple accelerator programs and initiatives
  • KIU / GITA — Startup Summer School (co-created, 6 annual editions, 250+ cumulative participants)
  • JET29 at Tbilisi State University — Mentor and Demo Day jury member
  • Startup Bootcamp Georgia — Entrepreneur in Residence (2026)

I am also a learner. I actively seek out mentors, ask uncomfortable questions, and try to stay genuinely curious — not as a talking point, but because it is the only way I know how to keep moving forward.
